Feeling good today about the future.
So i Started a new batch of customs. Maybe they are called freedom gang.

Nerdmess update.
I went to APAK’s house and took lots of photos for theri feature in issue number 1. Will post a couple of pics from the shoot up on flickr too.

right now i am working just a little here and a little there on two projects that feel like pure fun.
This is the first one.

I think this desire to publish zines (or little books) has been long perkalating inside me again. i know i have longed to smell freshly printed ink on paper, and to see ideas and thoughts come together in a little book. Putting books together and sharing them with the world is one of my top feelings on earth.
But what… in recent years with so many projects happening it’s been hard to figure out where to focus my energies. Issue four of Pencil Fight always looming over my head, but no desire to deal with that magnificent headache. One that was supposed to be only half mine.
it wasn’t until recently, in my new friend Yann-Claude’s new used car taking a trip to flea markets in Paris suburbs that it boiled. “I can no longer live amonst this… this nerdmess.” Yann spitted it out, frustrated with his tiny flat over run by comics and toys.
That was it. not just a name or title for a book, but something greater. Nerdmess described a whole large portion of my brain and my life. “What color should i make this toy? This is an awesome comic. tapirs are so flipping cute it hurts. Where do i put these boxes?” It’s all a big fat nerdmess everywhere i look, and i absolutely love it.
Welcome to nerdmess, for now a few updates here and there, and soon to be a little magazine/zine/tiny book. The first issue very handmade and loved upon.
