I finished my new little airbrushing and painting studio. As of yesterday it works, still so much to do, but think I’ll take a break til fall. I have so much to do for now and summer tour. Here’s a few pics of ye olde studio. This friday, may 1st will be The Learning Project customs, first airbrushing since  i was a wee lad in highschool, even then i didn’t really use it. these will all be dif gargamel sculpts, some mini’s and maybe a few standards. Then next friday, may 8th is Rootbeer bubbletea explsion pocket globby.

last night I went to Tara McPhersome’s! new book signing, took down the old art at GH, and saw J. Otto’s new work. All paintings of billboards. So wrong, yet somehow some flippin’ awesome. Also been listening to old Xu Xu Fang. rad LA band. they have a new album coming out and the release party is this thursday at the Echo in yes, you know Echopark. Wish i could be there.

this bearded lassy is Alec Longstreth. he is dedicated to comics like no other.

He flew across the country to be at the stumptown comics festival this weekend, and has put a moretorium on shaving until he finishes his epic story that he runs in phase 7, his self published comic.

Go to stumptown, buy his comics, can’t miss him. He’s the loud one with the glasses with no lenses and the big beard. i swear he must just be making fun of me.
