thrash out sleep it off! today eh.

Always happy and nervous the day of a new artshow. Today is no exception. arrived in tokyo last night, customs x-rayed one of my bags “beard profiling” and was pretty baffled. I told them “painted toys”. the two customs doods looked at each other, and all was good in the world. today i get to relax before the show. My friend koji harmon, who’s house i am staying at set me up with a deck ( I could only bring my trucks and wheels cause i was so loaded down). So today I’m going to skate to Koenji, where thrash out is and do a little walk about skate about. Koji’s place is about 4 kilometers from thrash out. the sun is shining and I am listening to little dragons. gonna be an awesome day.

Here’s my treats from last night. New pocket sleeping killer and micro killer done up in Pacific northwest killer colors. These are customs. No word on whether or not they would ever be reg releases.

they’re up!

a little uh-oh globby and sloth n moth handpaint/custom release. Right here.

In other news. Closing down new membership for sars club until i finish said old sars jelly factory and paintings. Will post here when it’s back open again. I also just updated the shop with what’s there and not there, found some hidden bits in the brick and mortar shop and put them up. I’ll add some more soon.

Sleep It Off at Thrashout september 24th

Been trucking so hard on the actual work i forgot to post about this awesome adventure. On August 24th martin ontiveros and I get to close down the shop with our new show and this Thrashout’s last show SLEEP IT OFF.  That’s right, after this event Thrashout will be closing it’s doors and moving shop out of tokyo. Sad and exciting as new palces create new adventures for gargamel. To celebrate gargamel is making new sculpts for both me and martin. A new killer sculpt for me- a pocket sleeping killer. I am going as they say balls out with over 30 customs and some new killer paintings. Almost done with the first painting which is a massive Steven painting.

I’ll also be attending super fes, a zine pop up show/shop at lumine on the 27th, and helping Hurley launch their Japan line on the 30th, painting a big mural with KaToPe and Chanmen. What a flipping awesome way to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.
